Letta Me Out!

Why do I look for this shit?  Creepy dolls are one thing, but this bad boy is going to haunt my dreams! Creepy dolls are everywhere you look. As far as I’m concerned, marionettes and ventriloquist dummies are the worst. Now I want to introduce you to Letta. A haunted doll on another level with a face to match.

The Drake Hotel

Brothers John and Tracy Drake came from a hotel family.  So it was no surprise to anyone that they built a hotel as magnificent as Chicago’s Drake Hotel. It was located right between a residential area and a commercial area. The Drake opened in 1920 and quickly became one of Chicago’s hot spots.

And you know how much we love a haunted house here at Scarymatter!

Busby’s Stoop Chair

Thomas Busby was nothing but a common thug. He was a drunk, a thief, and a counterfeiter. Legend has it that on the way to his execution, Busby cursed the chair saying that  “Death will come shortly” to anyone who sits in his chair.

The Amityville Horror Part 2 – The Lutz Family

In January 1974 George and Kathy Lutz bought a house in Amityville, NY, and moved in with their three kids. Their realtor had already told them that it was the site of the DeFeo murders. After living there for twenty-eight days, the Lutz family packed a few bags, grabbed the family dog, and left. They left most of their belongings there and they never went back…
