Akershus Castle (Akershus Slott og Festnung) in Oslo is considered one of the most haunted places in Norway. It has been used as a castle, fortress, prison, and military base. It has a very bloody history.

Cheesman Park used to ne a cemetery. It was converted into a park in the 80s. Some of the bodies weren’t removed Now it’s haunted.

Scooby-Doo – Where are you??? The Lake Shawnee Abandoned Amusement Park in Rock, West Virginia is right out of an episode of Scooby-Doo…if there were dead kids in cartoons, that is. It has a violent history that goes all the way back to the 1700s. And fun fact – it’s built on an ancient Native American burial ground!

When I think of going to Italy, a deserted island is the last thing on my mind. I want to eat my way across the country, take in all the scenery, admire every piece of art I can find, see where my great-grandparents were from, and stop to see a good friend in Olbia! However…this little abandoned island is said to be one of the most haunted places in the world and I one thousand percent want to go there!..

The southern United States has a very rich history. And thanks to the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, it has quite a haunted history as well. It seems like everywhere you go there’s an old battleground or a building that has a ghost that’s tied to back then. Charleston, South Carolina is no exception. And The Dock Street Theatre in the French Quarter of Charleston is no exception.

Casa Loma is an absolutely stunning castle in Toronto, Canada. I was there several years ago, so I speak from experience. The castle itself is amazing! Also…Casa Loma is supposed to be haunted…

The Island of the Dolls (La Isla de las Muñecas) is a seriously creepy place!  Everywhere you look there are dolls hanging from trees.  Some are extremely old and decayed, and some are new.  Not a place I ever intend to visit.
